FAQ
Understanding the bridge
What networks can I bridge to and from?
Users can bridge between the following networks: - BNB - ETH - SOL* *The Solana(SOL) network is currently under maintenance and will be available soon.
Will I be charged a fee?
Yes, there is a small 2% fee charged on each process.
This ensures the bridge can be maintained, updated, and sustainable.
Will my token value change after bridging?
The token ratio when bridging is 1:1, minus a small fee.
For example, the user has 1000 $HELLO on BNB and bridges to ETH, they now have 1000 $HELLO on ETH, minus the fee.
Will I pay gas fees?
Yes. There are two transactions when using the bridge.
If you are bridging BNB $HELLO to ETH $HELLO you will perform a transaction on the BNB Chain (requiring BNB gas fees to be paid). You must complete the ETH blockchain transaction (requiring ETH gas fees to be paid). The same rule applies for SOL.
How much will gas fees cost?
Gas fees are determined by how much traffic is on the blockchain. HELLO Labs does not set, nor benefit from any gas fees. These are paid directly to the miners and are completely out of our control.
Which devices can I use to bridge?
We strongly recommend using a PC desktop or laptop. Handheld devices are known to have issues connecting to Web3 services. Use handheld devices at your own risk.
How long does the bridging process take?
It can take between 1 to 5 minutes on average. Be patient, do not close the browser or tab, and do not try to interfere with the process.
Is there a limit on how many tokens I can bridge?
No, you can bridge any amount you have available in your wallet.
I got an error while trying to claim, what should I do?
Don't panic. On-chain syncing can take time. Stretch your legs and try again after a few minutes.
I am having issues that can't be resolved, now what?
